Lloyd R. Braun Scholarship - In 1999 Lloyd Braun lost his long battle with cancer, shortly thereafter the Lloyd R. Braun scholarship was established through the Michigan State Auctioneers Association. Each year the scholarship is awarded to a member of the association.

Community Fairs - Braun and Helmer has either showed, auctioned, or purchased at our community fair for over 30 years.

St. Jude Children's Research hospital is the chosen charity of the both the Michigan and National Auctioneers Associations. Braun and Helmer works very hard to support this cause through venues like the MSAA All Star auction. David has also served on the MSAA St. Jude committee.
